Digital Storytelling – The Power in Self-Belief Interview
Coming from a challenging background, Michael Bluemling, Jr. has overcome the abuse of his past, successfully using his knowledge and skills to transition from war-time veteran to civilian. Although adverse effects may occur, his troubling childhood experience did not hinder him from achieving and living a productive and fulfilling civilian life.
Having served the United States Army as a Sergeant during the Kosovo campaign and America’s war on terrorism, Michael chose to serve those who fought for America when he became a civilian again. Discharged with honor, Michael worked for the Department of Labor and Department of Veteran Affairs, as a fierce advocate for veterans and their families, fighting for their present and future.
In 2013, Michael founded Power of One, a veteran-owned coaching service to help veterans and people in transition. He also attracted attention as the author of three books: Turning the Page: Overcoming Abuse to Reach Life’s Fulfillment, Our Journey: Heart to Heart with God, and Bridging the Gap from Soldier to Civilian: A Road Map to Success.
Today, Michael is the host of the Podcast, Live with Michael Bluemling Jr., and also the radio show host, with Chauncey Brown III, of “The Michael and Chauncey Show” on BlogTalkRadio.
Micheal understands the emotional, spiritual, and physical challenges individuals must overcome. In his speeches, he conveys the message that each person has the power to conquer adversity and lead a fulfilling life. By offering his keen insights and providing the necessary tools to help veterans and abused individuals survive and thrive, he is more than able to drive this across.
