Fill Your Bucket List Foundation
As a student in the School of Media and Journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill, my Public Relations Writing course allowed me to apply my education to real-world work experience, and develop relevant skills and expertise while volunteering for a meaningful cause. I was able to hone my relationship-building skills and sharpen my communication skills while gaining knowledge of the disciplines and environments in which ‘Fill Your Bucket List Foundation‘ operates. This foundation accomplishes exactly what its name suggests, but instead of water, however, they fill others’ buckets with hope, desire, and possibility.
Since 2014, the Fill Your Bucket List Foundation has been a committed and action-driven organization that vicariously follows its mission – to materialize adult cancer patients’ dreams into reality. The foundation raises money and resources to grant patients their greatest desires, enriching the lives of the afflicted, and allowing them to create memories and experiences that intangibly uplift them through the challenges they face.
